CRECHE CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT
 

Crèche is available to children of members & casual users of the Centre during the hours advertised.
Please note times are subject to change depending on numbers.
 

Morning crèche  is available for children aged between 8 weeks to 6 years:
Must be pre-booked prior to 3pm the day before

• Monday - 9am to 12 noon

• Tuesday - 9am to 12 noon

• Wednesday - 9am to 12 noon

• Thursday – 9am to 12 noon

• Friday -  9am to 12 noon

Parent/Guardian is to fill out a crèche application form for each child wishing to be booked into the crèche, and is to be given to the creche staff on the child’s first visit.

This must include a copy of their current immunisation form.

BOOKING
 

Crèche is booked on a “first come, first served” basis as numbers are limited.

Morning crèche must be pre booked and may only be booked up to 1 week in advance for members and no later than 4pm the afternoon before.

Evening crèche can be booked up to 1 week in advance and no later than 3pm of the same day.

Saturday creche can be booked a week in advanced and no later than 12pm on the Friday.

Evening and Saturday Morning crèche will only take place if there are 3 or more children.

Parents who have already booked their child in will be notified by 4pm if crèche is cancelled for the evening or by 12pm on the Friday for the Saturday creche, so please remember to write your full name and phone number on the booking form.

Members may only book their own children into the crèche.
 

Parent/guardian(s) must give 2 hours’ notice if wishing to cancel a booking for their child. Failure to give notice will incur a $5.00 fee.    

ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE

Parent/guardian must strictly adhere to the advertised crèche hours.

All children must be signed in by their parents on arrival and signed out when departing. Please ensure you fill in all details requested on the form.

When arriving and leaving the crèche, please inform the staff member on duty.

Authorised persons nominated on the crèche application form ID section, will only be permitted to collect the child.

Children will only be able to depart with the parent/guardian who signed them in on arrival, unless prior arrangements have been made in writing.

Parents are not permitted to leave the gym whilst their child is in the crèche.

 

ADDITIONAL CARE

Please ensure all children have their possessions clearly labelled, including food and drinks.

In the case that your child’s nappy requires changing, you will be called from your activity to change it. Also if your child is under any serious stress by being left in the crèche, you will be called to attend to them. It is requested that children are taken to the toilet prior to arriving at the crèche.

The minders have the right to refuse any child who is sick or appears to have any illness/condition that may be transferred to other children.

In the case of an accident, the parent will be notified as soon as possible. Further medical assistance will be sought by the staff at NXTSET if deemed necessary.

It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that appropriate food/drink is provided for their child.
This includes NO NUTS OF ANY KIND. THIS INCLUDES NUTELLA AND PEANUT BUTTER.

Please also inform staff if your child has any allergies so we can alert other parents not to bring that certain food in.
