To ensure you can train with confidence, NXTSET Health & Fitness is introducing a range of new measures.


The health and safety of our members and staff remains our top priority. That’s why we’re adding even more safety measures and extensive cleaning protocols, so we can safely support you in getting back into your training.


  • Hygiene stations have been placed nearby high-touch areas through out the gyms.
    These stations include hand sanitiser, medical grade disinfectant for use and sanitising gym wipes

  • All NXTSET Health & Fitness staff have undertaken Australian Government training modules on COVID-19

  • We have CLOSED non-essential areas including CRECHE, and common areas such as NXTSET Nutrition.
    We currently have change rooms and lockers open but suggest that you shower at home where possible.

  • Closing water bubblers (bottled water will remain available to purchase)

  • We will no longer supply boxing gloves and stretch mats at the facility. Please bring your own.

  • Cash free purchases at Reception.



  • Our equipment has all been Repositioned where possible as well as introducing clear floor markings and more signage to help members and staff maintain 1.5 metres social distancing in all areas of the club.

  • Introducing new Group Exercise class procedures once they recommence including no member interaction or sharing of equipment, hygiene stations at studio entry and exits, and additional time between classes for cleaning and sanitisation

  • Decommissioning every other piece of cardio equipment to ensure a 1.5 metre distance can be kept. This includes in Cycle Studios. All equipment labelled with social distancing signs. These are not to be removed.

  • We will not allow spotting in the centre

  • Members are to not congregate

  • Thorough cleaning of all equipment by both professional cleaners and staff. On the gym floor and following the conclusion of any class when they resume.

  • No shared equipment unless disinfected between uses

  • Increased COVID-19 education programs across all staff in the club.



  • Do not attend the gym if you’re feeling unwell

  • Our strict ‘no towel, no train’ policy is in place

  • We ask that you take responsibility for social distancing measures by adhering to dedicated floor markings, avoid congregating prior to Group Exercise classes starting, respect capacity rules and use only the equipment that is available

  • Thoroughly wipe down all equipment before and after use, using the antibacterial wipes provided

  • Lockers are not in use for the time being, so arrive with only the essentials including a towel and a water bottle. Please leave your valuables at home or on your person*

  • We encourage you to bring your own mat when attending Group Exercise classes once they commence

  • Always swipe into the club & do not let any one in, this will enable more accurate attendance records

  • Please be respectful to team members who are enforcing procedures

    *NSW Government allows for changing room facilities to remain open.

Frequently asked questions

How is NXTSET protecting members and staff expecially being 24 hours?

At NXTSET, the safety of our members and staff is our number one priority.

Along with our gym being remotely managed via our 24 hour security system;
We have put an extensive range of protective measures in place.
These include & are not limited to; increased cleaning specifications, hygiene stations placed in every area of the club, adhering to social distancing guidelines, a strict “no towel, no train policy” and closure of non-essential areas.
In addition, our staff have completed the Australian Government COVID-19 Infection and Prevention Control training, and will be issued with, disposable gloves and extensive cleaning kits ready for use.

What areas of the gym are still closed?

All non-essential areas of the gym will remain closed for the time being.
These includes:
- Creche opening date - TBA
- Group Ex opeining date - TBA
- NFS area opening date - TBA

As bubblers are not in use, we recommend bringing a refillable drink bottle.

*Showers and lockers remain open but we advise only use these if you have to.

How will you do contact tracing?

It’s important that you swipe into the club when visiting. This will allow us to trace when you have entered and left the club, should the data be required by the Department of Health.
We have a strit policy on tailating. Please do not let anyone behind you.
We also encourage members to download the Government COVIDSave app

What is the capacity of volume of people allowed within the club?

Our Club capacity is limited to allowing 4 square metres per person for us this means we won't exceed this on the gym floor, as our facility is large.
This is great news for members as there will be NO BOOKING SYSTEM to book sessions on the gym floor.

How can we reduce risk of Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The World Health Organisation (WHO) recommends hygiene and other measures to reduce the general risk of infection: Frequently cleaning hands by using alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water When coughing and sneezing cover mouth or nose with flexed elbow or tissue - throw tissue away immediately and wash hands Avoiding close contact with anyone who has a fever or cough If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing seek medical care early and share previous travel history with your healthcare provider.

I don’t feel comfortable returning to the gym yet.

Our club is reopening with high safety measures in place. We value every member and understand that everyone’s circumstances are different, especially during this difficult time.
You can extend your hold on your account by heading to your NXTSET App & placing a hold on your active account.

Do I need to do anything before I come back?

Yes.  Before you come back  to the club we ask that you read and understand our new  Conditions of Entry and complete the below COVID-19 health screening.

By accessing NXTSET you accept these Conditions of Entry.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Stay home if unwell Wash or sanitise hands before entering the club and when moving through different areas Scan your membership barcode (app or card) every time you enter club Bring and use a towel every time you work out Bring a water bottle Wipe down equipment before and after use Keep your distance from others in the club.  COVID-19 HEALTH SCREENING You do not have any symptoms associated with COVID-19 (e.g. fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, sneezing/runny nose or loss of sense of smell) You do not have COVID-19 nor are you awaiting the results from being tested for COVID-19 You have not been in contact with any known or suspected cases of COVID-19 in the past 14 days You have not returned, or been in contact with anyone else who has returned, from overseas in the past 14 days.
